TikTok Needed Social Content From Their Live Event

We Created a Suite of Social Videos with Influencers at TikTok's Black History Month Event in LA. 

The Story

TikTok – the short video phenomenon formerly known as Musically – wanted to take advantage of a large gathering of Influencers at the Black History Month event they held in Los Angeles to create some fun, quick videos for social for use on their own app, and to promote the platform on Facebook and Instagram.

The Solution: Vertical Shoot for TikTok, Facebook & Instagram Story Edits

For a fun spin on interview videos, we had creators pull questions out of a hat and read them aloud to create a game or "challenge" to appeal more to their user base. Each Influencer answered a few fun questions related to their experiences with making videos and the app, as well as a few prompted questions on what Black History Month meant to them.

 

Shot natively for their platform and vertical social applications, we created both 15- and 60-second versions with each Influencer for a suite of videos that met the specifications for TikTok as well as video campaigns on Facebook and Instagram Stories.

The Result

TikTok was able to run successful campaigns across all three platforms, as well as repurpose questions that did not make our original cuts into even more social assets to run later in the year, showing the flexibility and financial savings associated with assets created natively for social.
